Salad Days at Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts
Find Austin’s work in both the 2019 Pottery Sale, and the 2019 Stein Sale at this fun annual ceramics gathering.
About Salad Days:
“On the second Saturday of July each year, join hundreds of visitors who come to the Watershed campus for a memorable picnic—and carry home handcrafted ceramic plates as souvenirs of this special day. The plates are created by a dedicated artist-in-residence who spends a season at Watershed making 550 plates for the festival.
After choosing your favorite plate, load it up with a delicious array of locally sourced salads—all prepared by area restaurants and Watershed’s chefs. In addition to the picnic lunch, Salad Days features live music, artist demos, a ceramics exhibition, and a pottery sale of handmade ceramics made by Watershed artists from around the country.”

About the Pottery Sale:
“Every year Watershed invites artists from around the country to display and sell work at our annual Salad Days event. The pottery sale provides a rare opportunity to purchase work directly from these artists and to meet many of them in person. Our 2019 sale will feature work by Salad Days Artist alumni and other internationally recognized artists from Maine and New England, along with a special sale of beer steins made by Maine artists and Watershed alumni.”

About the Stein Sale:
“Each year, Watershed- affiliated potters create a wide variety of handcrafted beer steins for you to choose from. Purchase a stein and sample brews on tap that have been generously donated for our Salad Days event. “
